Ryan Lawless fuses R&B, Rock ’n’ Roll, and Classic Country, inspired by artists like Bonnie Raitt and ZZ Top. Born in Austin and raised in Southwest Houston, he began guitar at eight while working at his family’s audio shop, falling in love with 1970s grooves. His latest album, New Gold, recorded at E.A.R. Studios in Austin, weaves B3, baby grand, and Fender Rhodes piano into laid-back, soulful tracks that reflect his music composition background and lifelong passion for Texas, blues, and Cajun traditions.

Jake Lane will be accompanied by fiddler, Carson Rast at Opa on Friday Feb. 7th, 7-9pm.

They are a folk/rock duo and will be doing a mix of originals and covers from Tyler Childers, Incubus, Jimmy Buffett, and more.
